Coconut Veg Biriyani

Speciality of this item : No water, Biriyani cooks in Tomato Juice & Coconut Milk!

Ingredients:

  1. Rice : 1 Cup
  2. Coconut Milk: 1.5 Cup
  3. Tomato Juice : 1.5 Cup
  4. Onion : 2
  5. Potato : 2 (Medium Size)
  6. Carrot : 2
  7. Beans : 100 Gram
  8. Capsicum : 1 (Big)
  9. Cauliflower : 1 Bowl
  10. Green peas : 50 Gram
  11. Green Chilly : 2
  12. Red Chilly Powder : 1 Tea Spoon
  13. Fortune Rice Bran Oil : 100 Ml
  14. Ghee : 2 Table Spoon (Optional)
  15. Cinnamon Stick : 1 (Small)
  16. Bringey Leaf : 1
  17. Clove : 2
  18. Elachi : 4
  19. Ginger Garlic Paste : 1/2 Tea Spoon
  20. Salt : To Taste

Procedure:

  1. Finely chop all vegetables mentioned above, including Onion
  2. Put a cooker in stove, and add Fortune Rice Bran Oil, 2 table spoons Ghee (if required)
  3. Put Clove, Cinnamon stick, Elachi, Bringey Leaf, Ginger Garlic Paste, Chopped green chilly and fry
  4. Add Chopped onions and continue frying till they turn golden brown
  5. Add all chopped vegetables one by one
  6. Fry continuously for five minutes
  7. Add 1 Cup Rice and continue roasting for 4 to 5 minutes
  8. Add Coconut Milk, Tomato Juice, salt, red chilly powder and let it cook as usual, in simmer mode
  9. After one whistle (Roughly 10 minutes), remove the cooker and serve hot
